I need to say that this last week has been extremely hard. We had an incident that I can't talk about. And yesterday, Steve had his second test done on his throat. They stretched it again, and they said that they would have to do it again in 8weeks. We also heard tonight that Steve's oldest sister is in the hospital for some tests.
We had 2 soccer games today and another one tomorrow. Maddie's team killed the team they played and Megan's team only scored one point and got beat pretty bad.
Some good news from this last week is that my brother's family is moving back to the Tricity area. He just accepted a job with King Pharmaceuticals in Bristol. I am excited for him and Teal. Now, with there new addition, they can be closer to mom and dad. I am sure that they will take advantage of that free babysitting that grandmothers do!

nice. Can I just say I'm glad that we never did the crud war!
I am going to just say that I don't remember ever doing cool stuff like that in youth group. I would loved to have been in that crud war!
Not me. I hate being sticky, I'm glad we stuck with outpost. I was awesome at that game.
We play something like Outpost at night, but not nearly as cool or involved.
And Penny, that was so legal...and smart. It was almost as good as the time I told Lisa her team was going the other way in Ultimate Frisbee. It's too bad our students now don't like Ultimate so much....
After the Crud war, they hose us down. It's perfect--lots of mess, but we don't have to deal with the cleanup! However, I think I had an allergic reaction to the oatmeal (horse feed) up my nose and ended up with a sinus infection!!!
I haven't talked Wendy into playing yet, but her and the girls love to watch. The picture they took was a casualty in the first round (shaving cream in his eyes).
They don't like ultimate ???????
Who doesn't like ultimate ???????
Texans. The ones in North Dallas worry about how hot it will be in Memphis when we go this summer (I'm leading a 7th grade team). We kind of hibernate for the summer unless there's water nearby.
Okay, we went through a lot of youth directors in my time, but we played outpost at Black Mountain. That was an AWESOME game. Who was the youth leader then? I don't remember. That's the one where Christy farted in front of everyone. Hahaha!
Steve,
I hear ya about hibernating through the summer. Did you know that stores actually change their hours here during the summer. People don't leave their houses until well after dark. Most summers reach about 122 (50c) here.
Kel, That was with Steve- I don't remember Jim ever doing outpost, but we hiked a lot with Jim. I have pics of John playing outpost at BM. And i remember Tim getting in a lot of trouble with Lisa during one of those games.
He ran me into a tree, killed me while I was suffering from sever head trama, big trouble is an understatement. But not as much trouble as when Steve and Tim cheated, I think that was our next time at BM.
